The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine together with the United24 platform announced the launch of the Army
What is known
The program involves the system purchase, repairand replacement of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as a training course for operators. The first goal is to buy 200 recon grade drones with up to 24 hours of autonomy and build thousands of simpler drones.
Anyone can donate funds orsend your own drone. If you are outside of Ukraine and want to transfer your drone, you need to send it to the Help Ukraine Center hub in Poland or the USA. Residents of Ukraine can send a drone by Nova Poshta. In the department, it must be said that the delivery for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the “Army of Drones”. After that, the operator will independently issue the parcel.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation and United24 are asking to send drones with the following specifications:
- battery capacity - from 5000 mAh;
- flight range - from 1 km;
- camera resolution - from 20 MP;
- photo resolution - from 5280 x 3956 pixels;
- video resolution - from 3840 x 2160 pixels;
- autonomy - from 30 minutes;
- remote control (optional).
