Ukraine expects to receive the first modern German air defense system IRIS-T this fall

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba reports that Ukraine expects to receive its first

the IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile system from Germany, which will make the skies safer.

In addition, Kuleba emphasized the importance of the supply of tanks from Germany:

“I am convinced that German tanks as a resultwill be supplied to Ukraine, just to the German government - and here I don’t think that the problem is in the position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - it takes time to evolve before such a decision is made. Under normal circumstances, we would not be against it and could wait, but every day, while in Berlin someone is thinking, consulting, consulting about whether to give tanks or not, when to give IRIS-T, in Ukraine someone dies from -due to the fact that the tank did not arrive, due to the fact that the tank was not able to enter the position and support our military"

At the same time, the German Foreign MinisterAnnalena Berbock, who came to Ukraine on a visit, said that Germany is conducting active negotiations with other countries to buy ammunition for artillery systems for Ukraine.

“We are 150% on the side of Ukraine and the Ukrainianpeople. And we will be with them as long as Ukraine and the Ukrainian people need our support. We will supply Ukraine with as many weapons as necessary,” she emphasized.
