In fact, it is an improved version"Orlan-10". The unmanned aerial vehicle is also used for reconnaissance, but can carry an 8 kg payload. For example, means for measuring background radiation, cameras with optical stabilization or means of electronic intelligence.
The maximum takeoff weight is 27 kg.This is twice as much in comparison with Orlan-10. One of the features of "Orlan-30" was the ability to use a laser designator. In simple terms, an aircraft using a laser can indicate the “route” to a guided munition.
