A student e-sports league for CS:GO with a prize fund and tournaments was founded in Ukraine

While Valve, Blizzard and Ubisoft are creating e-sports leagues for professionals, SkiLL_UA decided to organize an association

for students.

What is known

Now Ukrainian boys and girls are from 16 to 25 years oldcan take part in eSports tournaments of the Ukrainian Student League. Having received the support of LG, HyperX and the Odessa mayor, the SkiLL_UA organization will hold two large tournaments in the CS:GO discipline.

The first qualifying competitions will take place in Aprilonline, and the final stage will take place in May in Odessa. The second tournament will take place in the fall: the qualifiers will begin in October (online), and the final stage will begin in November, also in Odessa. In addition, small tournaments will be held monthly from June to September.

According to the organizer, for each victoryDuring the competition, teams will be awarded SkiLL Points. Players who beat their opponents on points will receive an invitation to the Grand Final in Odessa, where from January 13 to 14, 2020, teams will compete for part of the prize fund.

Ukrainian Student League covers four conditional groups of regions:

  • West (Uzhgorod, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil,

Lviv, Volyn, Rivne, Khmelnitsky);

  • South (Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Zaporozhye, and also Crimea);
  • Vostok (Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Lugansk, Kharkiv, Sumy,

Poltava);

  • Center (Zhytomyr, Vinnitsa, Kiev, Cherkasy, Kirovograd,

Chernihiv).
