What is known
On the air of the national telethon Reznikovanswered a question about the potential supply of foreign aircraft and the training of Ukrainian pilots. According to the Minister of Defense, there is a chance that Air Force pilots will begin to master the latest generation of aircraft.
Reznikov noted that now everyone is dreaming ofAmerican F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters, but simply political decisions are not enough to obtain them. We also need to solve the problem with airfields. The Minister stressed that the authorities have already held consultations with specialists on the modernization of existing sites.
Note that it is still too early to rejoice, since the modernization of airfields does not automatically mean that Ukraine will receive F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters or any other aircraft from partner countries.
