In an interview with the Ukrainian edition of NV, he stated thatUkraine will receive two batteries of NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems, and not just two air defense systems. The battery, in addition to launchers, includes vehicles for charging, target detection and maintenance of complexes.
The speaker emphasized that system manufacturersair defense systems have limited capabilities, which complicates the process of transferring NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine. The same applies to the German IRIS-T air defense systems.
Recall that Ukraine will receive NASAMS as part ofthe next package of military assistance from the United States in the amount of $ 820 million. In addition to air defense systems, it includes four HIMARS MLRS with additional missiles, counter-battery radars and 155 mm artillery shells.
