According to information from the operational-tactical group“Pivden”, Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance using a UAV discovered a Russian artillery position camouflaged among the trees. The scouts directed the artillerymen at them. As a result, the enemy’s ammunition was destroyed, as well as the Russian 2S7 “Pion” self-propelled gun.
For those who are not in the know
2S7 "Pion" is a Soviet 203 mm self-propelledhigh power gun. It is designed to suppress rear areas, destroy particularly important objects and nuclear attack weapons in tactical depth at a distance of up to 47 km. The gun's ammunition consists of 4 shells, and the crew consists of 6-7 people.
