Ukrainian banks have introduced a restriction on the withdrawal of funds from cryptocurrency exchanges - we tell you how to get money

Last week, Ukrainians began to complain about the impossibility of withdrawing funds from crypto exchanges to a Monobank card.

As it turned out, the restriction also applies to other banks.

What is known

Monobank support clarified the situation.If the withdrawal of funds from the cryptocurrency exchange will take place as a SWIFT or SEPA transfer from a brokerage or investment company (or as a purchase of a quasi-cash), then such an operation will not be performed.

The Bank refers to the NBU Resolution No. 18 dated 20April of this year. According to this, both incoming and outgoing transfers in foreign currency are blocked if there is a suspicion that they are related to activities prohibited on the territory of Ukraine.

At the same time, Monobank recommends withdrawing funds to the card via P2P. In this case, no restrictions apply. Bye.
