Ukrainian company Promin Aerospace will test a small launch vehicle in 2023

Startup Promin Aerospace from Ukraine, despite the ongoing war with Russia, is preparing for its first flight

Despite the war, the company intends tosmall satellite launch technology tests in early 2023. This was announced by Misha Rudominsky, CEO and co-founder of the startup Promin Aerospace.

The research laboratory is located in the cityDnipro, but the head of the company does not give the exact address, since the city is regularly subjected to rocket attacks. At the same time, Promin Aerospace cannot move to another location, since the employees live in Dnipro.

In 2022, the company planned to expand its staff,and on February 22, she sent out a batch of letters asking for funding. However, due to the Russian invasion (February 24), the startup had to make adjustments to its plans. Promin Aerospace focused on design using funds that were raised earlier. Additionally, the company received $100,000 from Google in late summer 2022.

Promin Aerospace agreed to holdrocket tests at a spaceport in Scotland, but it is possible that the tests will be held in Ukraine. As part of the tests, the rocket of the Ukrainian company will rise to a height of 100 meters.
