UN Recalls Human Extinction with Dinosaur Video

The UN published a video on its official Youtube channel in which the Tyrannosaurus rexnamed Frankie convinces

people to pay close attention to the problem of global warming.

In the video, a tyrannosaurus suddenly appears at the beginningmeeting of the UN General Assembly in New York and takes the podium from which he says that all life on Earth may die if humanity does not pay close attention to the problem of global warming. In addition, Frankie talks about the need to stop investing in the extraction of fossil fuels and spend it on coronavirus vaccines for everyone on the planet or the complete elimination of poverty.

The video is part of an ambitious UN campaign tocounteracting the global climate catastrophe called "Do not settle for extinction." UN Secretary General António Guterres has consistently called for an end to subsidies for fuel extraction, speaking of the growing climatic and social risks.

Campaign slogan: "At least we had an asteroid, but what is your excuse?" The dinosaur was voiced by the famous American actor Jack Black.
