The developers published a New Year's greetings, in which they thanked the fans for many years of support and promised pleasant surprises in the coming years.
The congratulations are accompanied by a “subtle” hint at the release of the second part of Gothic on the Nintendo Switch.

It should not be ruled out that they plan to port not only the second part of the famous role-playing game, but also the entire original trilogy to the hybrid console.
