Unique unmanned balloon launched for the first time in Russia

The launch took place on August 20 as part of the Aircraft Festival.

The creator of the device is the startup TFA airships, which is engaged in the design of unmanned transport platforms with aerostatic unloading for monitoring and cargo transportation.

AirGlow - unmanned aerostatic heliumball. It can be used as an advertising aerial banner at exhibitions and festivals. The device has no analogues in Russia - it is a unique product on the event services market.

The ball's capabilities include:broadcast from a projector and a holographic screw, illumination of the shell in different colors, placement of a branded logo on the shell. Thanks to the universal mounting, the AirGlow can accommodate any payload up to 12 kg. The diameter of the ball is 2.5 m, the flight time is about 4 hours.

The uniqueness of the object lies in the optimalhybridization coefficient. To find it, engineering specialists carried out research work with experimental verification. In the future, this technology will make it possible to create devices with a carrying capacity of up to 60 tons.

TFA airships plans to launch in 2023AirOne, 12.7 m long, capable of reaching speeds of 91 km/h and carrying loads of up to 9 kg over a distance of 250 km. AirOne will be used to transport small items, such as parts for unscheduled equipment repairs in factories.
