According to Hayes, Ukraine’s partners are alreadynegotiations on arms supplies with a number of countries in the Middle East. NASAMS is a mobile surface-to-air missilecomplex for destroying maneuvering targets at low and medium altitudes. The complex was developed in the early 90s by the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defense with the participation of the American Raytheon. The air defense system entered service with the Norwegian Armed Forces in 1994. The AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles have a range of 20-40 km and a maximum altitude of 20 km. The cost of one such battery is about $65 million. By the way, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently armed with two NASAMS air defense systems.
