US secretly sold military technology to China

The Wall Street Journal has learned that the US Department of Commerce, which issues export permits, could potentially

sensitive technologies from the country, approves almost all requests from the PRC. Dual-use technologies are also sent to China, that is, those that can be used for military purposes. Discuss

The WSJ said officials approved 94%, or2652 applications for technology export to China. Therefore, the US is sending China a lot of semiconductors, aerospace components, artificial intelligence-related technologies, and other goods that can be used in Beijing's military interests. And this, of course, does not go against the statements of the US authorities, who spoke about the threat of technological competition with China.

The Commerce Department said it is making technology export decisions with partners from the Pentagon, the State Department and the US Department of Energy.
