US sends first batch of M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine

Recently, the US government announced a military assistance package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which included 109 infantry fighting vehicles

What is known

The U.S. Transportation Command on January 25 loadedmore than 60 infantry fighting vehicles per ARC Integrity ro-ro-carrier. On January 27, the ship left the shores of North Charleston, South Carolina. On February 8, the ro-ro will arrive in the UK, and then the BMP will be sent to Ukraine.

For those who are not in the know

M2 Bradley is the main infantry fighting vehicle,which is in service with the mechanized troops of the US Army. The BMP is built on a tracked chassis and has a 25mm M242 Bushmaster automatic cannon. The vehicle's arsenal also includes a TOW anti-tank missile system and an M240C machine gun.
