US Space Force to use Q-UGV robots at Cape Canaveral

What is known

The United States Department of Defense announced thisStates. Space Force will use robots to automate damage assessment during rocket launches and to patrol the area. The department believes that the use of Q-UGV will significantly save man-hours.

Robots are equipped with equipment for video andaudio communication and has the appropriate software. Q-UGVs can operate in a completely autonomous mode, but it is also possible to remotely control devices using voice commands and a controller.

Q-UGVs are deployed at several US Air Force bases. For the first time, Ghost Robotics robots were used in 2022 at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.
