flaw:shallow depth of field (strong bokeh effect), which can be useful for artistic shots, but gets in the way when trying to shoot a group of people or a document on a table. The problem can be solved by a variable aperture, which we have already seen in the recent Huawei Mate 50, and will soon be available in new camera phones with IMX989. True, according to insider Digital Chat Station, in the first half of 2023, only one smartphone with a “change” – Xiaomi 13 Ultra. This means that OPPO Find X6 Pro will not be pleased with this useful option.
But the Vivo X100 Pro + camera phone will please, whichwill come out closer to winter. Separately, the source notes that the introduction of a variable aperture does not promise an increase in its maximum value to f / 1.4, as in the same Mate 50, since optics limitations come into play, which means that neither Xiaomi nor Vivo should expect aperture records.
