Viber in 2020: Focus on Business (Infographic)

Rakuten Viber summed up the results of 2020 and talked about how brands communicated with their audience

via the application.

What is known

So, because of the pandemic, companies have become more activeswitch to digital tools for interacting with clients. Therefore, the number of brands that started using Viber to solve business problems grew globally by 58% compared to 2019. There was also a 21% increase in business notifications. At the same time, companies gave more preference to messages about transactions (order confirmation, product delivery, etc.) rather than promotional messages (promotions and special offers). They increased by 37%.

Also due to the high demand for communication with brandsonline, customers are using more two-way messages (dialogues). Naturally, the desire to interact with users has also led to an increase in the number of companies that advertise on Viber. Around the world they increased by 115%. In Ukraine, the figure increased by 65%. The most frequently used advertising tools were developers of mobile games (122% more often than last year), food delivery services (174%) and social media (244%).

Over the past year, the number of companies that use chatbots has increased by 48%. In Ukraine this figure was +25%.
