Yandex has developed two prototypes of warehouse robots.
Yandex said that the inventory robot has alreadyused in the largest logistics complex of the Market. It scans QR codes on packages and enters the data into the inventory control system. The convenience of using the robot lies in the fact that it can reach with its scanner the goods that are stored on high racks in several tiers. And the scanning process itself is faster - in less than a second (it takes an average of two minutes for a person).

Another warehouse robot works for Lavka.Its tasks will include the movement of goods within the darkstore. When a client places an order in the Lavka, the robot itself will take the required amount of goods from the shelves and bring it to the warehouse employee. For these purposes, the device must be compact and maneuverable.
