Vietnamese smartphones are already better than Chinese ones in terms of price-quality ratio. We will prove to you

8.5/10Rating according to FerraVsmart Joy 4To be honest, no one perceived the Vietnamese impulses to make smartphones

seriously.Yes, a year ago, when I, along with other journalists, visited the Vsmart plant in Vietnam, I was pleased with the scale. The factory was built in record time - literally in a few months. But we have already seen how the Indian Micromax (de facto) was born and died in a similar way, and even Chinese competitors for Xiaomi did not always take off - enthusiasts still remember the example of LeEco. But today we have a smartphone on test that shows that Vietnam can compete with the Chinese “premium”, and in the current economic situation it looks like a good alternative.

Before you start yelling in the comments “yeswhat the fuck do you want? We and Xiaomi have enough for any occasion! ”, I will remind you that competition is good. Without it, we would not have gotten sensible Samsung Galaxy M21 and M31 (Samsung created them when Xiaomi and Huawei began to supplant it in the budget segment). Without it, but a little earlier, no Chinese smartphones would have appeared, and we would have chosen Sony, LG, Samsung and HTC in this class among low-power state employees (at best, Lenovo, there were such smartphones).

Well, technical progress + the zeal of manufacturerseven the falling ruble exchange rate overtakes state employees. For example, in 2017, if you remember, at "55 rubles per dollar" the cheapest and most profitable smartphone in the office retail, Xiaomi Redmi 4X, cost 13 thousand rubles. That is over $ 200. And it was “just a cheap smartphone with a big battery,” with a minimally usable processor, no camera, no NFC, and so on. Similar Samsung (Galaxy J7, for example) cost $ 300 or more.

And today – no problem!Even among new catching up manufacturers. For example, in 2019, when Vsmart showed its first smartphones for international (and not just in Vietnam) sale, and they didn’t even look like a cheap craft. But then almost everyone was missing, for example, an NFC module, and there was... no camera.

But now I tested Joy 4 and ... it's straight"Decent budget smartphone"! Without any exaggeration and discounts “well, that's not very good yet, but then they will learn to do it normally” (as the example of Doogee and Oukitel showed, they will never learn). And now I'll tell you in detail why.
