Smartphones of the current generation are equipped withQuad-camera with a resolution of 50 MP + 48 MP + 8 MP + 12 MP. The 12MP and 8MP modules have 2x and 5x zoom respectively. Moreover, the second uses periscope optics.
Vivo X Fold 2 won't have a periscopetelephoto lens with 5x zoom. This is reported by the Chinese insider Digital Chat Station. Thus, the company wants to make the smartphone thinner and lighter. For reference, the vivo X Fold and X Fold+ weigh 311g and are 14.6mm and 6.3mm thick when folded and unfolded, respectively.
