Vivo X30 5G will be the first smartphone on the market with an Exynos 980 chip

Vivo recently showed the flagship smartphone Vivo NEX 3 5G (its 4G version can already be pre-ordered in Ukraine), and now

the company is going to introduce another device with support for the fifth generation network.

What is known

The smartphone will be called Vivo X30 5G and it will besuccessor to Vivo X27. The device will boast a new Exynos 980 processor. The chipset is built on an 8-nanometer process technology and uses eight cores: two Cortex-A77 and six Cortex-A55. They are complemented by the Mali G76 video accelerator. The SoC has a built-in 5G modem and also supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 6 and cameras with up to 108 MP resolution.

The novelty is also credited with an AMOLED display without holes and cutouts, a retractable front camera and a triple main one. There are no other details about the smartphone yet.

When to expect

The presentation of the Vivo X30 5G should take place in December, but the manufacturer has not yet announced the exact date.

Recall, Vivo today announced two portable batteries with a similar design, fast charging and a capacity of 10,000 mAh.
