Vodafone for a month made free travel in Lviv

In early March, Vodafone launched in Lviv a fare payment service on electric transport using

SMS messages. From now on, passengers who have used this service will fully return the money spent on trips.

How to pay

In trams and trolley buses appeared instructions withdetailed explanations of how to pay for travel, and the route code. Passengers should send a message with this code to the short number 877. After 1-2 minutes, the phone will receive a payment confirmation with a unique identifier and information about the type of ticket purchased.

In this case, the passenger pays only for travel - sending SMS is free. Prepaid subscribers can use the service, the main thing is that there are enough funds in the account.

How to return the money

From today, there is also a cashback: Vodafone will return the money spent on travel to the additional account for passengers who used the SMS service on trams and trolley buses. This is 5 hryvnia (the cost of a one-time general ticket) and 2.5 hryvnia (for beneficiaries).

On the enrollment of money will be reported in a separate message. Bonus funds can be paid for a package of services at a rate; calls within Ukraine and abroad; additional minute packages; the Internet; roaming services and any other Vodafone services, except for content services.

Cashback will be valid for a month. Thus, Vodafone wants to encourage residents and guests of Mista Lev for refusing paper tickets and cash payments.

By the way, the same SMS-payment in the Lviv city electric transport was launched by Kyivstar and lifecell.

Vodafone will return funds for the purchase of one-time general and discount tickets in trams and trolley buses of the city, costing, respectively, 5 and 2.5 UAH. The number of passes during the day is not limited.

Also during the month, Vodafone customers will receive another message - on the transfer of funds to an additional account. The received bonus funds will be used by subscribers to pay for the package of services at the rate; calls within Ukraine and abroad; additional minute packages; the Internet; roaming services and any other Vodafone services, except for content services.
