Volunteers in British vaccine trials to be specially infected with COVID-19

The world's first COVID-19 vaccine trial, in which volunteers will beintentionally infect with new

First, the subjects will be vaccinated, and thenmonth they will be infected with the Sars-CoV-2 virus. This is necessary to test the effectiveness of the product. After infection, the volunteers will be placed under the supervision of doctors at a specialized clinic in the Whitechapel area in east London. Doctors will reduce the risk of complications with the help of the antiviral drug Remdesivir.

The publication suggests that the organizers will select from several dozen to several hundred healthy young people, each of whom will receive more than £ 4,000 (about 400,000 rubles at the current exchange rate).

These studies, according to sources, could begin in January 2021 in a secure quarantine facility in London.
