Starting October 8, everyone can cast their vote for their favorite games and companies as part of the annual vote
Until November 4, voting is open in 18 nominations, which present the best projects from the end of 2021 to November 2022:

- Best Indie
- Best Multiplayer
- Best Visual Design
- Most Anticipated Game
- Nintendo Game of the Year
- PC Game of the Year
- PlayStation Game of the Year
- Xbox Game of the Year
- Better game support
- Studio of the Year
- Best Early Access Game
- The best game trailer.
After the end of the main voting, from November 7 to November 11, there will be a separate election of the Best Game of the Year.
The favorite of the Golden Joystick Awards 2022 is Elden Ring - it is presented in four categories, and Horizon Forbidden West, Splatoon 3 and Final Fantasy XIV are mentioned three times.
The winners will be announced on November 22 at the Golden Joystick Awards 2022.
