Wargaming is introducing a battle mode for the Sturmpanzer VI in World of Tanks, but temporarily

Wargaming continues to celebrate the 10th anniversary of World of Tanks. The game is already entering the third act of the event, in which players

will receive a new temporary regime.

WoT is introducing battles on Sturmtigers, where playersfighting in the Sturmpanzer VI Sturmtiger. According to the game designer of the game Dmitry Trofimov, the developers could not introduce the vehicle for balance reasons, and there are no similar vehicles in World of Tanks. Therefore, in honor of the anniversary, Wargaming decided to add a mode where players will be on equal terms.

““Sturmtiger” is a very interesting page inhistory of armored vehicles. It is precisely because of the uniqueness of this machine that we have not been able to integrate it into the game all these years. Sturmpanzer VI armor is level VI or VII, but the caliber of the gun... that's something. 380 mm means a gap of 140 mm from second place,” says Dmitry Trofimov, game designer for World of Tanks.

Battles will take place between teams 10 vs 10,where each “tanker” receives a Sturmpanzer VI at his disposal. The locations chosen for the battles were Ensk, Rudniki, Widepark, Tundra and the Airfield. The tank's power was not reduced, and the vehicle deals 3,000 damage with a high-explosive projectile and 7,000 with a cumulative one.

The Sturmtiger battle mode will be available from June 17 to June 24.
