Wargaming launched World of Tanks on Steam (not really)

Despite having its own launcher, Wargaming decided to release World of Tanks on Steam.

World of Warships

and WoT Blitz are already available in the Valve store,and now Wargaming has created a separate page for World of Tanks. You can already add the game to your wishlist and check out the system requirements. The release date will be announced later.

However, Wargaming has already confirmed the availabilitycross-play between the standard World of Tanks and the Steam version. As the developers write, only users of new accounts created on this platform will be able to access World of Tanks via Steam. Apparently, it won’t be possible to transfer progress from the Wargaming launcher yet.
