What is known

New “cars” are available to players in the Soviet branchon the seventh level, and the road to them will be paved by the Tier VII KV-3 tank. Three new tanks arrived in the hangar: IS-2-II, IS-3 Variant II (IX) and ST-II (X). In the first model, the emphasis is on the rate of fire, and not on one-time damage. IS-3 Variant II, on the contrary, stands out for its ability to inflict 390 units of damage. ST-II, according to the developers, is the same well-armored ST-I with two 122 mm guns.

“The idea of creating tanks with two guns has long beentormented the minds of many designers. But for a number of reasons, no one was able to bring the project to completion. Therefore, only our players have an excellent opportunity to play on this unique vehicle, which was created for World of Tanks as it would be in reality,” says Maxim Chuvalov, global publishing director of World of Tanks.

Artillery mounts with multiple barrelsappeared more than a hundred years ago. So, in the 16th century, “organs” were used on battlefields, on which up to 40 barrels were hung. In the early 30s of the 20th century, similar systems were used for air defense. Moreover, during the Great Patriotic War, engineers developed a tank with a twin KVU-0 gun mount.

In update 1.7.1. Players will receive dismantling kits that will allow them to remove tank equipment for free without spending in-game gold. Tankers who care about the appearance of their vehicle will get new 3D styles.
