Watch the first private crew return from space to Earth

The moment of splashdown in the Atlantic Ocean of the Crew Dragon spacecraft of the American company SpaceX with the first in

the world was filmed by a crew of all civilians. The broadcast was conducted on the company's website.

SpaceX congratulated the astronauts by tweeting a post with the caption "Welcome back to Earth."

Today's splashdown markscompletion of the historical mission. A private spacecraft was the first to fly into space with a crew that did not include government astronauts. Inside a refillable capsule Resilience Mission Commander Jared Isaacman, Medical Officer Hayley Arseno (youngest female astronaut), Mission Specialist Chris Sembroski, and Dr. Sian Proctor, a geologist, were in attendance.
