Weaker PlayStation 4: Google surprised by the starting line of games for Stadia

Google continues to prepare for the release of the cloud gaming service Stadia. Last week the company

published the official application on Google Play, and has now revealed the list of games from the launch lineup.

What to play

Google Stadia will launch on November 19thand 12 games will be available at launch, and by the end of 2019 the company plans to add 14 more projects to the library. At the release, gamers will be able to play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Destiny 2, Red Dead Redemption 2 and other entertainment.

If we consider Stadia as a separate gamingplatform, then there are not enough projects. The same Sony released the PlayStation 4 with a starting lineup of 22 games from third-party and internal studios, and Xbox One could offer 23 projects at launch.

By the end of 2019, Google plans to add 14 more games to the Stadia library. Some will appear in the service in December, while others will have to wait longer, but the company did not indicate exact dates:

Google reminded that customersThe Founder's Edition or Premiere Edition will receive three months of Stadia Pro, which includes access to Destiny 2: The Collection at launch. In addition, users will receive one free game per month and will be able to play entertainment in 4K. The rest of the games from the launch lineup will be waiting for players in the service store on November 19.
