Webb photographed the Pillars of Creation. Compare how Hubble shot them before

The European Space Agency website published accumulations of interstellar gas and dust in the nebula.

Eagle. They are known as the "Pillars of Creation" and are located approximately 7,000 light years from Earth. They were first photographed by the Hubble Space Telescope.

In the picture, the 3D pillars look likemajestic rock formations, but they are much more permeable. The clusters are composed of cool interstellar gas and dust that at times appear translucent in near-infrared light.

Webb's New Look at the Pillars of Creation Will Helpresearchers will update star formation models and learn more about the amount of gas and dust in the region. Over time, astronomers will learn more about how stars form and burst from dust clouds over millions of years.
