British scientists note in the journal Nature thatsuch a catastrophe could affect the climate, supply, food stocks in the world. In addition, they add that in the next century the risk of powerful volcanic eruptions is several hundred times higher than the risk of comets and asteroids colliding with our planet.
Experts believe that to reduce the impactstrong eruptions can improve the tools aimed at predicting such events. Also, various recommendations can be sent to people in the form of SMS messages: for example, to clear the roof of the house in advance.
