In a release on the TechNick YouTube channel, two flagship Xiaomi models were compared in terms of heating and operating speed: Redmi K50 Pro and 12 Pro.
TechNick channel experts checked Redmi K50 Proand 12 Pro (RAM capacity in both cases is 12 GB) with Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processors in three tests. It turned out that only one of them is best suited for games and everyday use.
The first test included launching the vehicles, andas well as unlocking them with your fingerprint and Face ID. Turned on faster from two Xiaomi 12 Pro devices. When unlocked on the home screen, all app icons also opened faster on the 12 Pro. At the same time, the speed of the fingerprint scanner was higher in the K50 Pro. By the end of testing, the charge percentage for the K50 Pro was 93%, for the 12 Pro – 91 percent.

Overall, in terms of operating speed and heating, the winner wasXiaomi Redmi K50 Pro: he scored 19 on all three tests andwarmed up only 10.4 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the energy efficiency of the Dimensity 9000 processor was lower than that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1: 21.43 mAh / min. vs. 19.71 mAh/min. Both devices were discharged only by 6 percent, but the battery capacity of the K50 Pro is larger: 5000 mAh versus 4600 mAh for the 12 Pro.
