The new SVDM is made of modern materials,has improved ergonomics and higher accuracy due to the weighted barrel. The rifle has a Picatinny rail on the body for installing optical and night sights, a silencer, etc. Also, the weapon has backup mechanical sights and a mount for a folding bipod.
The total length of the SVDM in the combat position is 1155 mm, in the folded position - 875 mm.The weapon without cartridges and scope weighs 5.3 kg.
The new rifle will have to significantly increase the ability of scouts to destroy targets at a distance.
