What is the difference between OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 6T?

Every time a new phone comes out, users have a question — How is it better than the previous one? IN

also the case with OnePlus 7T. But unlike the OnePlus 7, which was mostly similar to the 6T, the OnePlus 7T takes center stage, and for good reason.

Main differences

OnePlus 7T appeared only a few months after the release of OnePlus 7, but there are much more new chips than some other manufacturers offer from year to year.

It is worth noting that there are changes to a large extent in all directions: inside and out. You can see them in more detail in the comparative table of characteristics below.

New camera and display

New round camera system located onthe back of the OnePlus 7T, is the largest we've ever seen on a OnePlus smartphone. And there are reasons for this: OnePlus is serious about cameras. And, as you know, cameras are traditionally one of the few weaknesses of phones.

There is also a good reason for increasing the size:The OnePlus 7T gets an ultra-wide camera that comes bundled with a regular and telephoto lens, which is a significant upgrade over the OnePlus 7.

In front we got a slightly higher 20: 9 AMOLED 6.5-inch display (the previous one was 19.5: 9), which now has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, like the OnePlus 7 Pro. Those who prefer flat displays can finally enjoy the smoothness that is achieved with a higher refresh rate.

Now it's time to take a look at the basic characteristics of the three devices.

As expected, the new OnePlus 7T receivedQualcomm’s updated Snapdragon 855+ chipset, which delivers about 15% increase in performance for the CPU and about 30% for the GPU, hence the maximum performance.

We will also discuss some of the improvements that OnePlus has announced, but they are not in the table above.

It's all about the camera again. And here again are the most interesting additions. Here's a short list:

  • Improved portrait mode, which can now be used with the main camera or telephoto lens.
  • New macro mode.
  • The new Nightscape mode for night cityscapes using the UltraWide camera.
  • Super stable video stabilization.
  • Record video using an UltraWide camera.

And also some minor changes:

  • The new tactile motor, which is stronger than the OnePlus 7, although not as large as the Pro version of the phone.
  • Advanced optical fingerprint scanner.
  • An improved battery that allows you to charge the phone from 0 to 50% in 20 minutes and up to 100% in an hour.

OnePlus 7T will work out of the box underrunning Android 10, but versions of OnePlus 7 and 6T should quickly catch up with updates. OnePlus has also implemented some new features in its OxygenOS, such as Zen custom mode.

Are the new additions and features worth upgrading from the old version of the smartphone to the new OnePlus 7T — Only you will decide.
