I tell you what I'm talking about. Robot Cleaner R1 does not have a lidar capable of "seeing" the environment and building accurate maps of controlled territories. There is no self-cleaning function with dumping garbage into a separate container either. But let's be honest, both features are now the most expensive of all that can be found in robot vacuums. Are they necessary?
For example, you can definitely do without lidar inrooms with a simple layout, where there are no interior excesses that impede patency. Given the popularity of small apartments such as studios and euro-twos, it turns out that even without expensive options, the vacuum cleaner is able to cope with patrolling. And in the interiors now there is a fashion for minimalism, which also reduces the complexity of passing through the sections of the room. Of the interesting features of HONOR Choice RobotCleaner R1 is also worth noting the small height and diameter of the case. This means that it easily penetrates under beds, wardrobes, cabinets and does an excellent job of getting between the legs of chairs. Dimensions are important parameters when choosing a robot vacuum cleaner. Finally, if we evaluate the quality of dry and wet cleaning, then Robot Cleaner R1 has no problems with this. The suction power is enough to effectively collect dust, debris and hair, it copes with navigation in space without any problems, the battery is enough even for spacious apartments, and the wet cleaning mode leaves behind a well-wiped floor without excess moisture. In general, HONOR turned out to be a quite high-quality basic model of a robot vacuum cleaner for those who just need to get an effective regular cleaning of the apartment and do not want to chase all sorts of bells and whistles.
