WhatsApp may stop working on older iPhones

The authors of the WABetaInfo portal have discovered that in the future, WhatsApp may stop working on older iPhones. Namely on the iPhone 4

and 4S.

Experts learned that Facebook is working onnew beta version 2.21.50 for WhatsApp. This build will not work on devices running iOS 9. This means that the company no longer intends to support such older devices.

The new version of WhatsApp Beta will only work on iPhones running iOS 10 and above. Now the iPhone 4 and 4S models can still run iOS 9. As a reminder, iOS 9 was released in 2015.

So far, WhatsApp has not officially announced this.
