The KaiOS operating system has finally received an official version of WhatsApp.

Now not only in india

Behind

last year whatsapp has been released to someKaiOS devices. Last September, the app arrived on JioPhone phones and this April on Nokia 8110, but only in India. It is now available globally on seven devices: Cat B35, Doro 7060, JioPhone, JioPhone 2, MTN Smart, Nokia 8110 and Orange Sanza.

In some markets, phones such as Nokia8110 is used if they want to get away from modern applications. But the same cannot be said about those countries where the cheapness, simplicity and long battery life of these (for example, the Nokia 8110 has a 25-day standby time) are much more important. In many of these countries, WhatsApp is an almost essential communication service and now users will not be limited to just phone calls if they don't have a smartphone.

The app can be downloaded from KaiStore forKaiOS devices with 256MB or 512MB of RAM, and beginning in the third quarter of this year, it will come pre-installed on select phones. The app version supports calling and messaging and also includes end-to-end encryption like Android and iOS.
