The operating system KaiOS finally got the official version of WhatsApp.

Now not only in india

Behind

last year whatsapp was released for somedevices on KaiOS. Last September, the application appeared on JioPhone phones, and this April on the Nokia 8110, but only in India. Now it is available worldwide for seven devices: Cat B35, Doro 7060, JioPhone, JioPhone 2, MTN Smart, Nokia 8110 and Orange Sanza.

In some markets, phones like Nokia8110, use if they want to get away from modern applications. But the same cannot be said about those countries where low cost, simplicity and long battery life of these (for example, Nokia 8110 works 25 days in standby mode) is much more important. In many of these countries, WhatsApp is an almost necessary communication service, and now users will not be limited to phone calls only if they do not have a smartphone.

The application can be downloaded from KaiStore forKaiOS devices with 256 MB or 512 MB of RAM, and starting from the third quarter of this year it will be pre-installed on some phones. The application version supports calls and messaging, and also includes end-to-end encryption, as in Android and iOS.
