The WABetaInfo portal studied the beta version of WhatsApp for Android 2.22.20.12 and found that the messenger is actively working on
WhatsApp will be able to show the updated,edited version of the sent message. Unfortunately, it is not yet known how long after submission this feature will be available to users.
Note that Telegram has had such an opportunity for a long time - since 2016. The time limit here is one day.
