The X5 company, which includes the Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and other retail chains, has launched a pilot project
The system is currently being tested in1,500 Pyaterochka stores in Moscow and the region. After the completion of the “run-in” of the loyalty system in the capital region, it will be connected in all regions where this retail chain is present. In July, testing will begin in Perekrestok supermarkets.
The company said that customers do not need to do anything extra. All existing plastic "Rescue-cards" will continue to work as usual.
For customers in connected stores nowwrite-off and accrual of points for "Help-cards" is available. As before, using a loyalty card in all stores of the distribution network, you can earn points for purchases, receive discounts on products with promotional price tags upon presentation of the card. Everyone who made purchases during the transition to the new processing has already been credited with points on loyalty cards.
It is emphasized that stable operation is ensuredsystems and reliable safety of customer data, as it is deployed on the X5 infrastructure. In total, more than 60 million customers will be transferred to the new X5 processing, and more than 19 thousand stores and about 86 thousand cash registers will be connected to the system.
This fall, X5 plans to return the ability to choose favorite categories and partner offers, in addition, there will be new mechanics and enhanced features for customers.
