Roskomnadzor explained that for activeInstagram users will need time to transfer their photos and videos to other social networks. Therefore, the agency decided to impose a restriction on access to Instagram at 00:00 on March 14. Thus, users will have an additional 48 hours of transition period.

Recall that Instagram was blocked in Russia for the fact that in the morning Meta announced permission to publish posts on its sites in “hate speech” against the Russian military.
