Let us remind you that Windows 11 will only workon 64-bit systems, the minimum requirements include a 2-core processor with a speed of 1 GHz, 4/64 GB of memory, a 9-inch display with a resolution of 1366x768 and a video card with support for DirectX 12 or WDDM 2.x. The OS release should take place towards the end of the year.
Dell says every Windows computer10 sold through the company's e-commerce platform will be eligible for the new operating system. In addition, older devices will also be supported. The list includes the following models:
- Alienware laptops and desktops
- G Series Laptops and Desktops
- Inspiron Series Laptops and Desktops
- XPS Series Laptops and Desktops
- Vostro series laptops and desktops
- Latitude series laptops, OptiPlex PCs, Precision series mobile and desktop workstations.
Even if your device is not on the list, it's still theremay still receive the update if it meets the minimum requirements listed above. However, it is worth noting that Dell will not provide you with new drivers unless your device has been tested by them.
HP has tested the following models for the update, but the list is not yet complete:
- HP Specter
- HP ENVY
- HP Pavilion Portfolio (HP ENVY x360 15, Specter x360 14, HP Pavilion All-in-One)
- OMEN 16, Victus by HP 16, OMEN 30L Desktop and other OMEN products
- HP Elite and HP Pro devices, such as the HP Elite Dragonfly G2
- HP ZBook Studio G8 and Z from HP Workstations.

Acer has promised a free upgrade to Windows 11 for all devices announced over the last three that are currently available on the market.
