Which headphones are the most popular among users?

Despite the large number of blunders on Apple's part lately, it is still leading the market.

market, if we are talking about smart watches or tablets. What about the growing and rapidly gaining momentum industry of wireless Bluetooth headsets TWS…

Believe it or not, according to the dataAccording to statistics, more than one of two pairs of genuine wireless headphones sold in 2019 was AirPods. Apple again dominates here. If you carefully read the chart, you will notice that 71% of the revenue comes from the American tech giant. All other global manufacturers of “fully wireless” Bluetooth stereo headsets agreed to an aggregate share of less than 50 percent of supplies and a negligible 29 percent of total revenue last year.

Please also note that Beats was third by2019 brand by revenue, which means that Apple actually captured over 71 percent of all market revenue. In terms of sales, Beats took only sixth position, which is not a shocking indicator, given that in May there was a commercial debut of the first Powerbeats Pro headphones.

It should also not be surprising thatSamsung ranks second in revenue with the popular Galaxy Buds, but the silver medal for delivery was actually provided by Xiaomi with its much more egregious copycat AirPods. Low-cost AirDots were only able to provide seventh in the revenue chart, behind Bose, Jabra and Huawei in addition to the Apple-Samsung-Beats triad.

Overall, Apple sold an exciting 60 millionAirPods units in 2019, obviously playing a key role in 200 percent year-on-year market growth. Not surprisingly, the early and fully dominant industry leader is expected to maintain its crushing superiority for long. At least “until the middle of the next decade,” according to Strategy Analytics.
