The Realme GT Master Edition and Honor 50 devices were compared based on their main characteristics during a review on the YouTube channel “SMART
The presenter of the YouTube channel has found out whether the Realme GT Master Edition can compete with the Honor 50. In terms of characteristics, these models are very similar.
- Equipment. It is similar for both, including in terms of power supplies: Honor – at 66 W, Realme – at 65 W. True, in Russia Honor will not have a case or headphones included.
- Appearance... According to the author, Honor wins.Although both are compact in size. However, Honor 50 feels more "expensive". True, it costs, I must say, also a little more expensive than Realme GT Master Edition.
- Ports. Realme has a mini-jack, unlike Honor. In addition, to unlock on Honor you need to hold your finger on the scanner a little longer, but Realme responds faster.
- Screen. Honor has a display with OLED technology, Realme has– AMOLED. Also, when tilted, the latter, unfortunately, shimmers in different colors, but the Honor only turns a little green. The maximum brightness is also slightly higher in the Honor 50. In terms of PWM, Realme is noticeably inferior to its competitor: the flickering on the smartphone is quite strong.
- Sound. In both cases there is a mono speaker. However, Honor's sound is more balanced.
- Vibration. Realme is clearly the leader in this parameter.
- Performance... Both gadgets are equipped with a Snapdragon processor778G. Their throttling test results were very similar. However, there was a noticeable drawdown on Honor after the 30th minute. In Antutu, too, the indicators were almost identical: Realme got slightly higher points than Honor.

The interface is fast, smartphones are generally nimble. However, the Honor 50 felt a bit smoother to the author.
- System... For some reason, there is no multi-window mode on Honor, as well as cloning applications. Therefore, for this parameter, Realme is better developed.
- Autonomy. In both cases there is a 4300 mAh battery,which makes it possible to work throughout the day (7 hours of display operation). They also discharge approximately the same way: 1 hour on YouTube – minus 6 percent battery, 30 minutes in Legends – minus 15 percent (Realme) and 14 percent (Honor). Charges faster Realme – in 30 minutes to 100 percent, while Honor 50 in the same time – by 87 percent.
- Cameras... On the main camera, photos are obtained both there and therepretty mediocre. But in terms of color rendering, according to the expert, Honor is better. As for the detail, it is similar, however, Honor has problems with this depending on the shooting conditions. The algorithms seem to work better on Honor too. The macro module always gives different results for Realme and Honor, but the wide-angle camera is generally very bad for both gadgets. But the front camera is good: both devices have a good one, although Honor copes a little better with overexposures and portrait mode is also better on it. When it comes to photos in night mode and in automatic mode, Honor clearly wins.
In terms of video shooting in 4K 30 fps, the Honor 50 again bypasses the Realme GT. It has better stabilization and color rendering. At 1080P 60fps, the results are similar.
- Proximity sensor. It works great on Honor. On Realme – a little worse, but also quite normal, although he makes mistakes.
In general, we can say that it is still cheaperRealme GT Master Edition justifies its cost, that is, it is inferior in a number of parameters to Honor 50: display, video recording, appearance. Although, at the same time, Realme also has advantages: price, vibration motor, mini-jack.
