Which product should be partially abandoned for heart health

Experts from the American Heart Association told which product should be excluded from the

diet to reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular disease.

RIA writes briefly about the research of specialistsNews". It is reported that the authors of the new scientific study studied the urine tests of ten thousand participants using a dose-response principle. The average age of the participants was 50 years.

It turned out that 571 cases of cardiovascular disease among the participants were associated with high sodium and low potassium intake. And this in turn was associated with salt consumption.

“Increasing the amount of salt in the diet increased the risk of developing heart disease by 18%,” RIA Novosti quotes scientists as saying.

Now the authors want to re-measure more accurate measurements to help determine a safe daily sodium intake.
