Which smartphones Xiaomi and Redmi will update to Android 12, and which should not wait for the update

Among them is Xiaomi, which has not yet announced the list of devices that will receive Android 12. However, an updated list of Xiaomi and Redmi gadgets that should or will not receive a major update has appeared online.

Who's on the list

The list was published on the Xiaomiui Twitter account. This is an unofficial list that is based on information received from sources within Xiaomi and MIUI developers.

According to the list, everyone will receive Android 12the flagship Mi series 2020 and 2021, the Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 10, Redmi 10, Redmi K30 and Redmi K40 lines, the Black Shark gaming line of the third and fourth generations, as well as models of the Poco sub-brand (Poco F3).

At the same time, Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite, Redmi10x4G, Redmi Note 9 (Global), Redmi Note 9 4G (China), Redmi Note 9T and Redmi 9 Power are still in question. There is also a list of devices that will not receive Android 12. These include Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi CC9, Mi Note 10, Redmi K20, Redmi Note 8 and Redmi 9.
