ASUS has announced a new version of the operating system for last year's flagship line of smartphones, ZenFone 7.
What is known
Firmware for ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro released withbuild number 30.40.30.93 and device users in Taiwan have already started receiving it. The update will also appear in other regions in the coming days. As for the list of changes, it includes the latest security patch, all the main features of Android 11, as well as an updated proprietary ZenUI shell, which is very similar to the “pure” version of Android.

Let us remind you that ASUS is currently working onZenFone 8 smartphones. According to leaks, the line will include three devices: ZenFone 8, ZenFone 8 Flip and ZenFone 8 mini. The latter, as the name suggests, will be a compact flagship. It will compete with the iPhone 12 mini.
