According to him, behind the attacks on the state resource are hackers, "employees" in the IT-army of Ukraine. Attacks come from Russia, the US and Europe.
The main goal of hackers is to disrupt the admission campaign inRussian universities, since a huge number of applicants submit documents through the State Services. The expert noted that the situation will worsen. And the power of attacks can reach up to 1 Tbit / s - if the attackers start using a botnet.
Khantimirov believes that DDoS attacks will continue until mid-August - the end of the admission campaign.
“According to our estimates, the public services website was attackedhackers from Europe, the USA and Russia, which are part of the IT army of Ukraine, and the main purpose of the attacks is the desire to disrupt the admissions campaign at universities, ”the specialist emphasized.
