Why a bank card will deteriorate if you carry it in a case with a smartphone

Specialists from the Center for Digital Expertise of Roskachestvo warned Russians that it is better not to wear

bank cards, discount cards, travel cards and other plastic cards in a smartphone case, along with the gadget. Discuss

As noted, the cards have a magnetic background,which reacts to the electromagnetic radiation of the smartphone and, in theory, the card can be demagnetized. Such cases have happened in practice, so even as an additional security, you should not make a card case out of a smartphone case.

At the same time, modern cards with NFC chips do not fail, even if they are constantly near the smartphone. Electromagnetic radiation does not affect their performance in any way.

In addition, the presence of cards in a phone case is dangerous in the sense that the device can be stolen, and along with it, thieves will receive the contents of the case.
