Why conventional car engines are better than electric car engines

The main alternative to similar cars – electric cars. But is it true that electric motors are better than traditional ones?

At the same time, cars with a gasoline engine most often have a range of about 800 km. Let’s say a Lada Vesta can cover approximately 797 km without refueling. With diesel engines, the range becomes even greater: many cars – more than 1100 km.

Although charging stations are now being created quickly, there are still far fewer of them, since there are only electric cars in the world – only about 1%.

  2. Sustainability. Despite the fact that the engines of the internalcombustion pollute the environment, electric motors also cannot be called completely environmentally friendly. More than a third of all electricity in the world people receive through coal combustion, and this greatly pollutes the natural environment. In addition, humanity will have to find a way to safely dispose of failed car batteries. The fact is that today people can only recycle about 5% of lithium-ion batteries. On average, of course, electric cars are more environmentally friendly than gasoline cars, but if electricity is produced in the region for the most part by burning coal, then this will harm the environment even more than internal combustion engines.
